I bet I could make that!

The Little Shop of Physics visits over 20,000 students every year all over Colorado and the neighboring states. We set up over 100 hands-on experiments for kids of all ages to work with and learn from. One thing we hear a lot is "I bet I could make that" and it's true! In fact, we want you to! All of our experiments are made from everyday objects and are very reproducible. You can use this wiki to discover information about our projects: what scientific principal they demonstrate, how to build them, what materials we used, and things we learned along the way. The pages also include pictures, videos and links to related projects.

What is the Little Shop of Physics?

The Little Shop of Physics is a group of science educators and science students based out of Colorado State University. We don'tshow students science; we help them do science. Our goal is to teach people that science is something anyone can do . . .

The Mission of the Little Shop of Physics

• Find creative ways to share the wonder of science.
• Present a unique hands-on science experience to a diverse range of students.
• Involve undergraduates in significant and meaningful service.
• Share ideas and insights with current and future teachers.
